This luxury equestrian centre and hotel located between Glasgow and Edinburgh has earned a great reputation over the past 28 years for quality unaccompanied children’s horse riding holidays, providing terrific fun packed breaks for children aged between 8 and 16 years old. Here the aim is to give children the time of their lives remembered for years to come, with careful attention to safety and round the clock 24hr adult supervision.
On the unaccompanied children’s language and riding holiday we have wonderful fully qualified English teachers who tutor the children each day to ensure they develop their language skills. As well as the more formal tuition, the children perform plays and tableaus to make the whole learning experience fun and meaningful. It’s a marvellous way of learning or improving English language skills while enjoying a horse riding holiday.
The children will spend 2 hours in the classroom each day and the remainder of the time will be horse riding. It goes without saying that the whole object is to steep the children in English language so their conversational English is second nature to them.
Horse riding lessons are taught in English, and English is the language used throughout the centre.
There is also the gorgeous Children’s riding camp in the Lake District.
On this unaccompanied children's horse riding holiday accommodation is on site next to the stables in the owners beautiful Lakeland house. There is 24 hour adult supervision provided on this exclusive children's activity break, with delicious home-cooked meals and friendly hosts. There is plenty of riding, helping with pony care and outdoor fun to be enjoyed with a maximum of 6 children per stay.
