Day 1
Make your way to the stables for lunchtime for your first ride, these stables are in the foothills of Snowdon so even the journey to reach them will make you feel like your adventure has started! We always begin with an assessment session in our outdoor arena where we can make sure we are matching you with a trusty horse and taking you on a ride that you suits your ability. We then set off for your first ride into the surrounding country, for beginners this will be a walk and trot ride, we can also do a lead rein ride for children. All rides are taken out by experienced guides to help you enjoy to the full the pleasure of riding good horses in spectacular scenery. More experienced riders will go out for a faster ride with cantering where the ground permits.
When your riding is finished it is a short drive to a historic town for your overnight stay. If you are in the B&B you will be close to the waters edge can enjoy exploring this historic port with it's medieval castle and marina. If you are in the hotel you can either relax in the swimming pool or explore the historic town
Day 2
After breakfast make your way back to the stables - with the Snowdon summit as a backdrop. This morning you will be out on a half day mountain ride (intermediate riders), this ride goes up into the hills to enjoy the rugged terrain of the open mountain. Beginners will enjoy a countryside ride in less demanding terrain. With the Snowdon range on one side and the Irish Sea on the other, this is a unique experience and how better than from the back of a horse – it’s a different world!
There are short canters for intermediate riders.
Children need to be able to hack out on open ground for this ride, otherwise they can do a shorter ride from the stables.
The rest of the day is yours to explore the area - you can choose to visit sandy beaches, coastal villages or stay up in the mountains and explore on foot.
Day 3
Enjoy your final breakfast at your accommodation and this morning is your last ride where you can take in more of the dramatic Snowdonia landscapes - as the weather changes so does the scenery.

Customer review
"I was impressed with the two young ladies who escorted my three rides. They were very attentive and gave good clear instructions, particularly to the less experienced riders. They ensured that everyone was happy with their mount before going out. I am 65 and hadn't ridden for a few years so was a bit apprehensive of my stamina. I needn't have worried as the ponies gave me a super rides in lovely countryside and views. I so enjoyed the experience that I have now started back at a local stables."
