Arrive today and settle in to your accommodation located in the heart of Shropshire close to Ironbridge. The stables nestle in a superb rural landscape that provides excellent riding through fields and woods. If time permits we can organise a ride for you today or if not riding will start tomorrow. This evening you have a host of local pubs to choose from, all within a few minutes drive away.
After breakfast your riding will begin, firstly you will have a half hour introductory lesson to give you the opportunity to start to feel confident with your horse. All the horses are experienced hacking horses and after you have been allocated a horse suitable for your size and experience your journey of discovery will begin. Today you will be enjoying the popular ‘BBQ ride’. The ride leaves in the morning, you will be travelling through glorious countryside and along bridleways and quiet country lanes. Experienced riders may enjoy a canter but beginners can also be catered for at a more leisurely pace. Upon arrival back at the B&B you will enjoy a BBQ - don't worry about the weather, there is an undercover veranda where guests can socialise and enjoy the food!
After breakfast in the farm house this morning you will be saddling up once more to trace the footsteps of the famous Shropshire horseman, Jack Mytton, who gave his name to the extensive bridleway that runs through this delightful area. For non-riders wanting to come along, the fascinating town of Ironbridge is just a 15 minute drive; home to a collection of 10 family friendly museums that celebrate the history of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage. Novice and expert riders are equally welcome as are children (who can be led if required).
You will be staying in the farm house adjacent to the stables on bed and breakfast basis. The views from the rooms are spectacular and you can choose from twin or double twins, there is also a room with a four poster bed for those special occasions. There are spare stables so guests are welcome to bring their own horses too! You are in a perfect location from which to explore the surrounding countryside with Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and Bridgnorth being easily accessible by road.

"One of the best things about this ride was they tailored the trails we did so that me and my partner could stay together as a group and if anything I think my riding improved throughout the time I was there.
The BBQ at the end of the day was also great and the conversation with Perk and Chia was always full of life and vibrancy. Both are very passionate about what they do and that fed through to their interaction with us. They have a wonderful home and we were able to enjoy the local restaurants as well as the great morning breakfasts Chia cooked!"
