Day One
Arrive today and settle into your chosen accommodation. You can choose from a beautiful cliff top luxury spa hotel overlooking the dramatic Lizard Peninsula, a modern refurbished room in the Village Inn, or one of the many self catering cottages surrounded by beautiful countryside and farmland.
All options are a short drive from the equestrian centre apart from the Village Inn which is located in the village less than a mile from the stables. Please note the cottages often require 1 week bookings (Sat-Sat / Sun-Sun). This option is ideal for families of riders and non-riders, and some even take dogs too!
If you arrive in time then your riding programme will start today with a lesson. Whether you have never sat on a horse before, are feeling a little rusty, or simply want to enhance your riding skills, we can tailor a riding programme to meet your needs.
Day Two
After breakfast at your accommdation you will either commence with your first (or second if you rode yesterday) riding lesson. Lessons can be private, shared with the person/people you are travelling with, or you can join an exising group lesson which will take place in the indoor or outdoor arena.
We tend to offer a break for lunch where you might like to head into the local village for a pub lunch, or to one of the many welcoming cafe's in the area. This afternoon you will enjoy your first hack out past the converted Angrouse Farm buildings, leading to the famous Marconi Centre. From here, you have fantastic views of Poldhu Cove and Mullion Island. The hacking is mainly off road with spectacular coastal views!
With your free time why not visit the historic harbour?
Day Three
Today is your final riding day where you will have a second hack out. You will ride up through the local village before joining a bridle path which gives you fantastic views looking over towards Cury. The hacking routes here vary and are dependant on riding ability. We can also arrange 'own a pony days' which are aimed at pony mad kids and are held every school holiday on a Thursday from 10am - 4pm. Please enquire if this is something you are interetsed in booking.
Before you head home why not visit the local ice cream farm where they make their own ice cream and you can watch the cows being milked.
Thre is plenty for non riders to do in the area, with so many visits and attractions close to hand you definitely won’t be bored!
