You arrive today and settle into your chosen accommodation surrounded by beautiful countryside and farmland. There are a variety of shops in the village, only a short walk from the stables, including a Spar shop open until 9pm and two pubs, one of which is thatched and traditional. You can choose to stay in a beautiful welcoming bed and breakfast situated right in the centre of the village, ideally located for the South West Coast Path, pubs, shops and most importantly the riding stables. Or you can stay in a self-catering cottage. Please note the cottages often require 1 week bookings (Sat-Sat / Sun-Sun). Ideal for families of riders and non-riders, and some even take dogs too!
You will have an introductory lesson/assessment followed later by a beach cove or countryside hack, why not take a walk to the local village pub for lunch and visit the historic harbour?
After breakfast we get you back in the saddle for a ride of your choice, be it flat work, help with nervous riders, show jumping, cross-country or hacks including riding on the golden sands of the neighbouring coves and beaches. Later today why not visit our local ice cream farm where they make their own ice cream and you can watch the cows being milked, have a picnic by the large duck ponds or eat in their restaurant.
Today there is a faster ride out planned for the more confident riders others may choose to continue with a lesson or a countryside hack. For lunch you must try the local farmers home-made organic and traditional Cornish Pasties.
Today is a rest day from riding, but with so many visits and attractions close to hand you won’t be bored.
Ride on the beach again today, it is a memory that will stay with you for ever
More riding today, choose between lessons and hacks.
You can reach us by car or by train to Redruth, and then pick up a local bus (run frequently) or a taxi from Redruth (approx. 40 minutes).
