Day One:
Arrive today and settle in to your farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodation. See the bottom of this itinerary for your best suited riding package. If time permits we can organise a ride for you this afternoon or if not riding will start tomorrow morning. This evening you have a host of local restaurants and pubs to choose from, all within a short drive away (Kelsall, Willington, Tarporley).
Day Two:
After breakfast you will be heading to the riding stables for your first ride of the day. After a short assessment you will be allocated a horse suitable for your size and experience and your journey of discovery will begin. Lunch may be taken in the form of a bar snack at the adjacent hotel (they are used to horse folk!) or in a local pub just minutes away. This afternoon you will be enjoying your second ride.
This evening you can choose again from a range of dining experiences, why not head to the pretty village of Tarporley. The Swan pub has an award winning Chef, The Coast serves excellent food and The Fox and Barrel is one of the best pubs in Cheshire.
Day Three:
After breakfast in the farm house you will be riding again. For non-riders wanting to come along, check out our travel guide, the historic city of Chester is only a 15 minute drive; its unique black and white Tudor-style shopping 'rows' draw visitors from around the globe. Beeston Castle is a 10 minute drive, at its summit the spectacular views spans across 5 counties. Or the pretty village of Tarporley is only a 5 minutes drive away, here you can enjoy a coffee in the Old Fire Station Chocolate Shop.

Complete beginner package (for those who have never sat on a horse): 2 nights double/twin room, 4 private beginner lessons from £350pp
Learn to canter / refresher package (for those who have ridden in the past and can walk and rise in trot): 2 nights B&B double/twin room, 3 private lessons and 1 hack from £350pp
Experienced riding package (for those who can walk, trot and canter confidently and want to learn/improve their dressage or jumping): 2 nights B&B double/twin room, 3 private lessons and 1 experienced hacks from £375pp
Dressage Break: 2 nights B&B double/twin room and 4 private dressage lessons from £375pp midweek
For weekend stays (Friday and Saturday nights) please add £10 per night
3 Night Training Breaks:
Beginner: 3 nights B&B, 4 private beginner lessons and 1 hack from £425pp
Experienced/Refresher Rider: 3 nights B&B, 4 private lessons, and 1 x hack from £450pp
4 Night Training Breaks:
Beginner: 4 nights B&B, 6 private beginner lessons and 1 hack from £575pp
Experienced/Refresher Rider: 4 nights B&B, 6 private lessons, and 1 x hack from £595pp
5 Night Training Breaks:
Beginner: 5 nights B&B, 8 private beginner lessons and 1 hack from £695pp
Experienced/Refresher Rider: 5 nights B&B, 8 private lessons, and 1 x hack from £695pp
Please note that in the farmhouse there are 2 guests bathrooms to 3 bedrooms, so a private bathroom is likely but not guaranteed.
There is a double ensuite room - supplement £10 per night
Single room supplement £25 per night
Experiened riders may choose to extend their hack to our special 3 hour Forest Ride at an additional rate of £60.

The stable in Cheshire take children from the age of 10.
We offer two lovely farmhouse bed and breakfasts a short distance from the riding stables. One is a short bike ride away (bike loan offered) the other is 4/5 star and is adjacent to the stable, the price to stay here is £375 pp. Each B&B offers the choice of a traditional English breakfast or a lighter continental breakfast. One of the farm houses has its own livery yard and horses and guests are welcome to bring their own horses too if they like!
All the B&B's are located a short drive from the pretty village of Tarporley, with its old coaching inns and top-quality boutique shopping. Chester is only 15 minutes away, so if you want to see Chester Zoo, The Rows or Cheshire Oaks you are ideally placed. The stables are a short drive away (walking distance from 2 of the B&B's) and are also superbly located to enjoy some of the very best hacking out across Cheshire’s rolling pastureland and into Delamere Forest.
