Fly into Porto (or Lisbon), transfer to our lovely family run Quinta (country house) boasting exceptional facilities including modern guest rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, riding stables, winery and an olive grove. This charming hotel with 10 rooms and a restaurant was opened in 2012. The family run renovation of this traditional 16-hectare Quinta includes a stud farm that praises and preserves the pure-bred Lusitano horse. Two riding arenas built with local materials – perfectly framed in the Portuguese landscape where riding lessons and hacking take place. Plus a sheepfold and a flock of 100 Bordaleira sheep. In 2021 the restoration and expansion of the onsite winery was completed. On the grounds there is also an 80-year old vineyards, apple orchard, olive, oak, chestnut, pine, and centenary cherry trees, rock formations from the glacial era and many water wells.
