This is a unique experience of learning the English Language while on horseback in a top class Equestrian Centre, the course is especially designed to give students a fantastic holiday in Ireland by doing equestrian activities each day and learning English. These camps have run for nearly ten years and attract visitors from all over the globe including Ireland, so students are exposed to many different cultures and make friends for life.
Horse Riding
Horse riding activities include an introduction to dressage, jumping and riding in the countryside on good mannered and well schooled horses. All riding abilities welcome. We take between 10 and 12 riders per course.
Our Equestrian Academy offers all its training in english as well so that the students can practise what they have learnt in the language classes. All levels of horse riding experience is catered for in this camp from novice to advanced equestrians! Afternoons will be spent learning about horses, developing horse riding skills and exploring the country side on horseback.Combining horse riding with english classes encourages students to improve their english in class and practice their speaking skills during fun and engaging activities. Most students don’t realise how much their english improves!
English Teaching
English language classes are taught by professional accredited teachers and are delivered on site in our class rooms. Teachers and staff encourage students to have fun and improve their spoken english throughout their stay. We believe total immersion in the English language is the most rewarding and also the quickest way to improve. Classes are used to improve both written technique and oral fluency. Grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure are key elements of this class.
Learning english should be more than just doing language lessons, we want it to also mean having fun. On this Equestrian and English Language camp students still receive the full experience of living with and being taught by their teacher, they will be totally isolated from their own language. Students practice english as much as they like with friendly Irish students and staff.

English is the main spoken language at camp and is strictly enforced throughout the day so no parent has ever been unsatisfied with their teenager’s improvement of conversational English after camp!
This camp runs in week long blocks starting on Sunday evening and ending on the following Sunday at 12 noon. We can arrange for transport to and from the airport, please ask for information.
One to one tutorials can be arranged. It is expected that pupils already have a level of english speaking ability. Specialist english as a foreign language teachers will be available to help at all times.
Small select English Language classes are given every morning by a professional teacher. The typical student mix is an equal number of Spanish, Brazilian, French, Italian and German with a few other nationalities thrown into the mix. This diverse camp has attracted students from all corners of the world including the Middle East, Asia, South America, Russia and Mexico.
Evenings
In the evenings, all nationalities get together for meals and fun activities. Most develop lasting friendships and a better understanding of different cultures as well as having a brilliant time!
