Day One
Arrive at Gibralter, Malaga or Jerez airport and head to Jerez de la Frontera. This town has long been an internationally recognized city thanks to its wine and sherry production. For horse lovers Jerez is more notably the equestrian capital of Andalucia and home to The Royal Riding School. Jerez is seeped in equestrian heritage and culture. Later this morning you will be visiting one of Jerez’s bodegas. The most famous bodega in town is Gonzales Byass Bodega, founded in 1835. Today, the impressive visitor centre sets you on a course of discovery as you learn to appreciate and savour the wonderful local wines. In the late afternoon / early evening you will have the opportunity to ride around the vineyards of Jerez or you can hone your equestrian skills by having a lesson with our expert trainer and horseman.
Day Two
This morning you will visit the famous Royal Riding School of Jerez. You will be watching the wonderful performance ‘How the Horses of Andalucia Dance’. The Royal Riding School is renowned throughout the world for their breath-taking exhibition and their painstaking training methods make this show a real delight as they perform intricate and demanding movements with effortless grace and control. Later today the choice is yours you will have the option to have another ride in Jerez with our expert horseman or you may like to visit Medina Sidonia (35 minutes drive), a lovely little hill top town made unique by its fascinating blend of Spanish and Moorish architecture. You really can’t visit Andalucía without witnessing at first hand the passion of the Flamenco dance! The origin of this dance is still unknown, although it is generally believed to be a mixture of gypsy and Arabic dance. This evening you may like to experience the passion and fervour of the performers as they combine the acoustic guitar with singing, dancing and staccato hand clapping at first hand. Definitely a night to remember!
Day Three
This morning you will be heading for the coast and the beautiful natural beaches close to Tarifa. On route you may like to visit the hill-top village of Vejer. This area of coast is known by the Spanish as La Costa de la Luz (coast of light) and as you gaze out on your surroundings you will quickly understand why as the light in this region has a quality all of its own. The sand on the beaches on this Western coast of Spain is finer and a more golden colour than the neighbouring Costa del Sol, even better for riding on! This afternoon you will be riding at the stable which is located right on the beautiful beach of Tarifa. This beach is part of a nature reserve and many migrating birds use it as a stop over before they fly to Africa. For tonight, you can choose among our different accommodation options close to the beach.
Day Four
Today we have another ride planned for you. Experienced riders will go on a two hour excursion riding along the beach and through The National Park. Less experienced riders will enjoy a more gentle ride also through The National Park. Horses will be selected to suit your standard of riding so that everyone can really enjoy riding appropriate to them.

After breakfast today it will sadly time to head back to Gibralter/Malaga/Jerez Airport for your flight home.
