Day One
Arrive at the equestrian centre in the afternoon or we can book a taxi transfer for you from the ferry terminal.
You will be shown to your accommodation - one of six newly built self contained mews houses set within a quadrangle. After time to settle in, you will need to change into your riding gear as this afternoon you will meet your qualified instructor and the horses, have an induction and 30 minute assessment. This makes sure you are matched with the most suitable horse for your ability. We will also discuss your goals for your lessons.
Over dinner at the local pub you will have a chance to catch up with some of your fellow riders.
Day Two
In the morning everyone participates in catching, feeding, grooming and preparing the tack for their horse for the day ahead. Today you will have two riding sessions - a group lesson and a trail or beach ride. Experienced handlers are on hand for the less experienced riders.
Trail Ride: If a morning, you and the horses will be transferred to your chosen trail at 9.30am. A two hour hack will give you the opportunity to enjoy safe off-road riding and enjoy the spectacular scenery the Isle of Wight has to offer.
Lessons: 1 hour group lesson in dressage or show jumping with maximum of 4 in a group.
If an afternoon ride then departure time will be 12.30 - 1.30pm. You will be free to make your own lunch arrangements either back in your accommodation or visit one of the local eateries.
Beach Ride: Departure will depend on prevailing tide times so can be an early start. You and your horse will be transferred to a local beach where your 90 minute ride will either follow or be followed by a cooked breakfast close-by. Afternoon beach rides will have an afternoon tea. Before the day ends you may assist with un-tacking your horse before turn out.
Day Three
Another full days riding today, with a lesson and ride out. Today you will either do the beach or trail ride depending on which ride you did on Day Two. Depart around 5pm or a transfer to the ferry terminal.
For a 3 night, 4 day break on your final day you will have another group lesson before departure, choose between showjumping or dressage!

A safe on-site trail ride is available for riders of any age. Please note: in order to ride the best countryside trails and beaches we box the horses to the ride.
