"Classical Riding is correct riding". It is how we really should ride every time we get on a horse. It is Horsemanship - not just knowing how to ride, but all round knowledge of the horse as a species - its psychology and physiology.
Arrive today and settle in to your accommodation. If time permits we can organise a lesson for you or if not riding will start tomorrow. Whenever you choose to take your first lesson there will be an assessment in order to allocate you a suitable horse and you will then be taught by one of the stables BHS Approved instructors.
After breakfast in your accommodation you will be heading to the riding centre to continue your classical dressage training. The centre has a number of quality dressage horses all in regular work and trained on an ongoing basis by the instructors.
The riding centre offers excellent facilities and has both outdoor and indoor arenas. This afternoon you will be enjoying a dressage lesson. The owner of the riding centre is an active dressage competitor and you will be riding a variety of her dressage horses that are prepared for competition.
Today you will be enjoying a further dressage lesson at the riding centre; there is an option to add a Lakeland ride ouit to the package for those wanting to enjoy the wonderful local scenery. Today’s dressage lesson will offer a variety of different skills and paces to help you perfect your riding.
