Arrive and settle yourself and your horse into your respective accommodation. We have two log cabins on site (unfortunately they don't allow dogs) there is a smaller 4 person cabin comprising of a double and a twin room, bathroom and kitchen/lounge. The larger cabin sleeps 6 and has one double room, two twin rooms, bathroom and kitchen/lounge. If you’d like to exercise your horse this evening there is an all weather arena and jumps. Later you can enjoy a home cooked meal at the traditional country pub, The Carriers Inn.
Start the day off by schooling your horse in the arena followed by a leisurely hack out into Delamere Forest, Cheshire’s largest woodland. You might even want to pre-book onto the Kelsall Hill cross country ride (10 minutes drive down the road). Their facilities include a new 4.5 furlong all weather gallop, 7 mile farm ride, an 80m x 46m arena for showjumping and an 30m x 46m arena for flatwork for hire and BE cross country course available for schooling.
This evening choose from a range of dining experiences in the pretty local village of Tarporley. The Swan pub has an award winning Chef, The Rising Sun and the Fox and Barrel is renowned for exquisite food and Christianos is one of the best Italian restaurants in Cheshire.
Breakfast in your cabin then the choice is yours. Either enjoy another ride out in the forest, the routes are endless, or try out the cross country fences on site! For non-riders and for those wanting to do some sight-seeing, the historic city of Chester is only a 15 minute drive, or catch the train; its unique black and white Tudor-style shopping rows draw visitors from around the globe. Beeston Castle is a 10 minute drive, at its summit the spectacular views span across 5 counties.
