Thursday
After breakfast this morning you will be making the short walk to The Royal Riding School renowned throughout the world for their breath taking exhibition ‘How the Andalusian horses’ dance’. Riding begins later today, you will be enjoying hacking through the vineyards of Jerez. What better way to begin to acquaint yourself with the wonderful wines produced in this region.
Friday
Breakfast
Today you will be able to continue on your voyage of discovery of the local wines as you visit the Gonzales Byass, Bodega, founded in 1835 and the birthplace of ‘Tio Pepe’, which was first exported to Great Britain in 1844.
The impressive visitors centre allows you to learn how to appreciate and savour the wonderful local wines.
Optional dinner out with a Flamenco Show tonight.
You can’t really visit Andalucia without witnessing at firsthand the passion of The Flamenco Dance! The origin of this dance is still unknown,
although it is generally believed to be a mixture of gypsy and Arabic dance. What is not in debate though, is the passion and
fervour of the performers as they combine acoustic guitar with singing,
dancing and staccato hand clapping. A night to remember!
Saturday
Breakfast
This morning after breakfast you will be able to visit The National Stud Farm. Here you will start to understand the history of this most important stud.
