Short Break Mountain Trail Ride

Riding:

As with all mountain trail rides you need to have a reasonable level of fitness and there are places where you will need to lead your horse.  It is necessary to be comfortable at all paces.  You will be asked to specify your riding experience, weight and height when booking.  The average riding time per day is 6 hours.

Dates marked with an astrix run Thursday to Monday the majority are Saturday to Wednesday.

Meals:

Dinner is included on the night of arrival, thereafter we are happy to recommend and make reservations for the local restaurants.  On the days you ride a full picnic using fresh local produce will be provided.  Please let us know if you are vegetarian or have any special dietary requirements.

The transfer from and to Malaga or Granada are at designated times.

The diversity of bridle-paths and forest tracks allows you three days to explore many of the more inaccessible ravines and valleys of this mountainous region.  From the high summer pastures and streams fed by the snow melt of the Mulhacen, down to the white-washed villages of the valleys. The routes are so planned that you ride over totally different terrain each day. One day you follow small paths high into the mountains, with spectacular views on a clear day of the Mediterranean.  On other days you will take slightly lower routes where the many forest tracks allow for a faster pace.
