We have 5 delightful festive riding packages for you this Christmas & New Year 2012, see below for more details:

Christmas on the Rushmore Estate – Wiltshire

Christmas Eve
Arrive late morning and settle into your 4 person self catering cottage accommodation. Facilities include 2 bedrooms (doubles and or twins), lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom, log burner, private drive and garden. This pretty traditional cottage is set in the heart of the privately owned Rushmore Estate just a few doors from the local village inn. The horses are just a stones throw away. For people coming without a car we will provide transfers for you from Gillingham or Salisbury train station or Hurn airport.

At midday you will be meeting the horses and heading out for your first ride. You will ride out through the thick woods away from the hustle and bustle of the day to day work and life. Stopping off for mulled wine and mince pies at the local farm shop/village inn - what better way to start your trip!

Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! This morning after a good night's sleep you will head out on a 2hr hack. Take your camera so that you won't be disappointed as you will ride through the estate up to the hills of the Cranborne Chase to take in the spectacular views. There is no doubt that this is a magical sight to see on horse back! As you are the only riders permitted on the estate this really is a truly exclusive trip never to forget. There are no cars allowed in this area and you will hardly meet a soul apart from the wonderful wildlife, peace and tranquillity. Back at your cottage you are free to enjoy the rest of you day with family and loved ones, open your presents and make you way to the local pub for a traditional Christmas lunch which we will reserve for you (£65pp).

Boxing Day
Today you are in for a treat! You will be taken to the village inn by car where you will meet the Portland Hunt for a glass of port and a mince pie before following them by 4x4’s on their route across the estate. We can arrange lunch for you today in the local pub if you prefer not to cook (£35pp).

Thursday 27th December
Today is sadly your final day but you will be riding before you head on your journey home. Angie will take you on a morning ride through the Estate where hopefully you will catch a glimpse of the wild deer in the ancient valleys and see the stunning view once more across the Cranborne Chase.

Rushmore Estate really is something straight out of a Jilly Cooper novel; you need to see it to believe it, a holiday you'll never forget begging you to come back again and again!

We have space for 4 people in the cottage, price is as follows:
•    3 nights self catering
•    4 person self catering cottage accommodation
•    8hrs riding
•    Lunch on Christmas Eve
•    A day following the Portland Hunt on Boxing Day
•    £390pp

Christmas in Antequera, Malaga

23 – 28 December 2012 *FULL*

Day One – Sunday 23 December
into Malaga airport.  We can either collect you from here (€80 return) or you can catch the train to the nearby village of Antequera and we'll pick you up from the station (€40 return).  You will be staying in a 200 year old recently restored luxury Cortijo with facilities including an infinity pool, private gardens, Chapel lounge, wifi, air conditioning and shady gazebos overlooking the valley and acres of olive groves and pine forests.  All rooms are en-suite and have been restored in typical Andalucian style with bamboo ceilings and rustic tiles. Once arrived and settled in, you will have a riding assessment followed by dinner in the Chapel.  The Chapel will be decorated with garlands and trees and a log fire will blaze at all times.

Day Two – Monday 24 December
After breakfast we will be enjoying a hack out to the nearby villages and bars, enjoying their Christmas decorations.

Dinner tonight will be taken with your fellow guests and hosts (en-famille).  All meals are prepared from fresh local produce or from the Cortijo's own gardens.  Dinner will be a typical Spanish Christmas Eve dinner

Day Three – Christmas Day
Awake to breakfast with a glass of Bucks Fizz.

Riding today will be a leisurely affair through the olive groves and vineyards of the area enjoying the scenery across the valley.

Today we will be enjoying a traditional British Christmas dinner with crackers and after dinner drinks.

Day Four – Boxing Day
Today you can enjoy a lie in after the Christmas Day festivities with a late breakfast.

This morning after breakfast, you will continue your riding with the opportunity for more experienced riders to enjoy a canter or gallop.  In the area of Antequera, the former capital of Andalucia, there are many valleys and lakes.  Today's route will take you to one of the most famous lakes, Fuente de Piedra (fountain of the stones).  This is home to thousands of Flamingos which migrate to this area to breed.  They come because of the minerals present in the water that comes up through the layers of stone.  This lake is the only one in Europe that is home to Flamingos.  You will ride all around the lake taking in the natural beauty, and then back to the Cortijo.

Day Six – Friday 28 December
