Arrival Day
If your dream is to ride in Ireland with a castle as your backdrop then this is the break for you! The accommodation is in the beautiful boutique style country lodge in the grounds of the Castle. You will stay on a bed and breakfast basis so that you can choose which restaurant to eat in on a daily basis. We offer single, twin, double and family rooms all with en-suite or private bathrooms. This afternoon you will begin your riding holiday. We suggest that you start with a lesson to enable instructors to assess your level and to allocate you with an appropriate horse.
Day Two -
After breakfast this morning you will head to the stables located a few paces from your accommodation. There are 3 programmes of riding to choose from depending on your ability and ambition levels. You will have the option to choose from beginners lessons and rides out, improvers lessons and estate rides or jumping instruction with cross country rides. Non riders can be catered for too so please ask for a price.
Departure Day
There will be time to ride today after breakfast. Plesae see below the three programmes of riding available and prices.
Learn to Ride
This programme will suit beginner or novice riders wishing to improve their riding skills with quality tuition and gentle hacking around the beautiful castle estate. There will be approximately three hours of riding per day, we will tailor make a package especially for you.
Estate Ride (no jumping)
This programme will suit good novice riders or experienced riders wishing to enjoy the extensive hacking available around the beautiful castle estate. If the weather allows paddling in the lake is permissable. There will be approximately three hours of riding per day, we will tailor make a package especially for you.
Estate Ride (jumping)
This programme will suit intermediate to experienced riders wishing to hone their jumping skills and to either start or to consolidate their skills over cross sountry obstacles. This is all done with the back drop of the wonderful castle estate. If the weather allows paddling in the lake is permissable. There will be approximately three hours of riding per day, we will tailor make a package especially for you.
Prices
Three nights prices start at around £1055pp for adults in a shared twin room, £1545 for solo occupancy and £925pp for a child to include 3 nights B&B accommodation plus a full riding programme. Please email us with your exact requirements and we will design the perfect riding package for you.
Transfers
Transfers avaialble from both Dublin (approx 200 Euros each way) or Belfast (approx 170 Euros each way) airport.
Dinners
Lunches, afternoon teas and dinners available on request. There are two restaurants on site.
