Arrive today and settle in to your 4 star country hotel set within the spectacular rolling hills of Cheshire. The rooms are all furnished to an exceptional standard complete with a luxurious en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities not forgetting 24 hour room service ensuring your every need is catered for. If time permits we can organise a ride for you today, if not riding will start tomorrow morning. This evening you may like to dine in the hotel’s restaurant and sample one of their 2 AA rosette-winning menus. Their mouth-watering menus are perfect for tempting your taste buds and this is complimented by an extensive wine list. Included in the room rate is full use of the hotel leisure facilities (gym, pool, sauna and steam rooms).
Thursday
After breakfast make the short drive to the riding stables (3miles away), after a short assessment you will be allocated a horse suitable for your size and experience and your journey of discovery will begin. Lunch may be taken in the form of a bar snack at the adjacent hotel or in a local pub just minutes away. This afternoon you will be enjoying a picturesque hack along bridleways and quiet country lanes. This evening you may like to enjoy a swim in the 18 metre swimming pool or relax in the thermal suite which provides a choice of options including a sauna, steam room, an ice room and experience showers. Alternatively, why not work out in the fully equipped gym.
Friday
After breakfast in the hotel you can choose between a final lesson or a hack out. This afternoon you can choose again between a lesson or a hack.
The stables take children from the age of 10.
For non-riding golf enthusiasts wanting to come along, we can offer you 2 rounds of 18 hole golf. You can choose from 2 golf courses (Championship and Premiership) both set in acres of beautiful parkland providing a delight for the eye as well as a challenge to all levels of golfer. These courses offer panoramic views of the Cheshire plains and when you have finished your round of golf you can be sure of a warm welcome at the award-winning clubhouse where wholesome bar meals, drinks and snacks are served.

Complete beginner package (for those who have never sat on a horse): 2 nights B&B double/twin room, 4 private beginner lessons from £450 pp, solo occupancy £580 per person
Learn to canter / refresher package (for those who have ridden in the past and can walk and rise in trot): 2 nights B&B double/twin room, 3 private lessons and 1 hack from £450pp, solo occupancy £580 per person.
Experienced riding package (for those who can walk, trot and canter confidently): 2 nights B&B double/twin room, 2 private lessons choose dressage or show jumping and 2 experienced hacks from £450pp, solo occupancy £580 per person.
Please note when choosing your riding programme that you must be in balance and in control of your horse in walk, trot and canter in the opinion of the instructor to be able to hack out.

For non rider partners who want to play golf the cost is: 2 nights B&B double/twin room, 2 rounds of 18 holes on the Premiership/Championship course from £350pp
For non rider partners who just want to chill in the spa, includes 2 nights B&B from £250pp
Single room supplement from £65 per night weekdays and £95 per night Friday and Saturday.
Spa treatments can be pre-booked. Children swim times (aged 15 and under) are 9am to 11am and 3pm to 6pm.
