Day One
Arrive today and settle in to your quality bed and breakfast accommodation. If time permits we can arrange a ride for you today or if not riding will start tomorrow. The accommodation is a short drive from the stables, this evening dinner is included.
Day Two
After a full cooked English breakfast you will be heading to the riding stables for your first lesson. The riding stables is British Horse Society approved, they have a large indoor school where lessons are conducted and fully qualified instructors. They have a range of horses to suit all abilities, sizes and ages. You will be riding in a small group of equivalent ability or a private lesson may be requested. After lunch you will be enjoying a picturesque hack along bridleways and quiet country lanes or you will be riding on the beach. Please note to ride on the beach you need to be able to ride in a balanced forward seat in canter. This evening dinner is included at your accommodation; there are also a number of pubs locally if you fancy a drink after dinner.
Day Three
After breakfast in the farm house you will be enjoying the same riding plan as yesterday with a lesson followed by a hack. For non-riders wanting to come along, you are perfectly located to explore the many attractions of Anglesey including Beaumaris Castle, James Pringle Weavers, and the award winning Pili Palas Nature World or Plas Newydd country house and gardens.
Accommodation
You will be staying in a quality farm house bed and breakfast on the beautiful isle of Anglesey just a stones throw from The Menai Suspension Bridge. Offering stunning views, it makes a perfect base for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. There is a choice of bedrooms in the farmhouse, and plenty of off road parking. All guests have the choice of a traditional English breakfast or a lighter Continental breakfast. There is a guest’s lounge with cinema style flat screen television and a pleasant spacious dining room.
Prices
The cost of the itinerary which includes 2 nights of dinner, bed and English breakfast in the farm house and 4 riding opportunities (two lessons, and two hacks) is £260 per person for beginner / novice riders and £275 per person for experienced riders wanting to include the beach ride. Extra riding can also be provided as can extra nights. There is a single supplement charge of £30 for 2 nights.
