East Devon Riding

Day One

Today you arrive in Devon’s beautiful countryside, with rolling hills and forests with miles of off-road riding available. You will settle into your chosen accommodation early in the afternoon and then make your way to the stables to meet the staff and horses. The stables are immaculate, the staff friendly and professional and there is a tremendous range of horses suitable for all abilities from novice to expert. You will have a brief assessment to make sure that you and your horse are well matched, followed by a lesson or your first ride out. After the ride you can relax at your accommodation or explore the nearby seaside villages.

Day Two

This morning after a good night's sleep and breakfast you will head back to the stables and be reunited with your horse. The stables is right next to hundreds of acres of hills and woodland with safe off road riding on excellent bridle paths. In the afternoon you can again ride out or take advantage of the excellent staff and facilities to improve your riding and experience. Then you are free again to enjoy the area, perhaps ia walk on the beach or for those at the hotel a swim in the pool.

Day Three

The third day is your last riding opportunity at the stables with a choice of hacking or instruction, which ever you prefer.

Beginners B&B accommodation £240 pp including 2 lessons, 2 hacks & 2 nights B&B

Beginners Country Club Hotel £305 pp including 2 lessons, 2 hacks & 2 nights standard room with breakfast

Intermediate/experienced B&B accommodation £280 pp including 2 lessons, 2 hacks & 2 nights B&B

Intermediate/experienced Country Club Hotel £335 pp including 2 lessons, 2 hacks & 2 nights standard room with breakfast

Accommodation

There is an option to stay either in a farm house B&B close to the stables or in a beautifully appointed country club hotel also a short drive from the stables. The hotel is 4 star plus and has a fabulous leisure centre with 20m indoor heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi, state of the art fitness facilities, tennis and squash courts. The rooms are spacious and luxuriously appointed with LCD TV, Wifi and 24 hour room service. Upgraded rooms are available, please ask for prices.

Longer Holidays and Family Holidays

We also offer longer holidays and family holidays here in Devon. There are two beautifully appointed family cottages (sleep 6 and 8) with swimming pool adjacent to the stables. During the holidays children can attend full pony days at the stables from 10 - 4pm when they will learn not only to ride but also how to care for their horse or pony in a fun and safe environment. High Season price (July & Aug) for a family of four including one week cottage rental and 5 full pony days for the children £695 per child, £315 non-riding adult (adults are welcome to ride too!)
