Explore Dartmoor

Day One

Today marks your arrival into the diverse moorlands and pretty scenes that compose Dartmoor. You will settle into your desired accommodation early this afternoon and having unpacked, will proceed to the stables for a brief assessment followed by your first ride out. If you are staying at the country house hotel you may look forward to a top class meal and a night of comfort. There is also a great local pub.

Day Two

This morning after a good nights sleep and breakfast you will head to the stable by car, a mere ten minutes drive away. Now that you have become accustomed to your new surroundings it is the perfect time for a hack across the stunning moorland and rolling hills that have long since made Dartmoor famous. After a quick rest and lunch (at your discretion) and an afternoon ride it’s back to your temporary home. If you chose to stay in the quaint Bed & Breakfast you can pop out to the nearby gastro pub for a delicious dinner.

Day Three

Sadly, today is the day of departure for you and your party but not post haste. This morning is you last chance to get in to the saddle and explore a little further into this rich land. There are many sights to see in Dartmoor, so we will look forward to your returning in years to come.

Beginners B&B £325: 2 lessons, 2 hacks & 2 nights B&B

Experienced B&B £325: 3 x ½ days riding (at faster pace) 2 nights stay

Beginners Country House £375: 2 lessons, 2 hacks & 2 nights B&B

Experienced Country House £375: 3 x ½ days (at faster pace) 2 nights stay

There is an option to stay close to the stables in a beautifully appointed country cottage, bookings are normally for one week but out of season weekend bookings may also be accepted. The cottage sleeps four people.
