Windsor & Ascot

Day 1

Arrive and settle into our great four star hotel and spa located in Ascot. The hotel has been fashioned in the style of a French Chateau complete with turrets, it offers the traditional atmosphere of an original manor house alongside up to date leisure facilities including an 18 metre pool, an extensive techno gym and an outdoor hydrotherapy pool. Dinner may be taken this evening in the hotel or Ascot has a host of restaurants and pubs offering ever type of cuisine. If time allows today you can start riding.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will travel to the riding stables where you will start your riding. Most people choose to start the day with a lesson but for more experienced riders this is flexible. In this area there is a whole host of visitor attractions for non riders or for any spare time between rides, including Windsor Castle, Dorney Court, The Savill Garden, Eton College and boat trips along The River Thames. After lunch we will be arranging a ride for you in Windsor Great Park.  The stables have over 30 horses to enable them to cater for all levels of riding ability from complete beginners. Experienced qualified staff accompanies the hacks which are divided into ability groups. This Park really is a magical place to ride with its wide grassland trails and stunning views of Windsor Castle.

Day 3

After breakfast the choice is yours, you can elect to ride out again in Windsor Great Park in the morning or afternoon. The local area is really rich in visitor attractions and the hotel’s spa facilities are excellent so we can offer extended breaks for those who want to make the most of this.

The combination of a lovely, traditional four star spa hotel with great riidng for all abilities makes this a really wonderful riding holiday in Berkshire. We also offer a 4 star spa package in Cheshire with a sister hotel to this one also with spa facilities and not forgetting great riding!
